How do you build trust in business relationships?

I have had multiple business relationships where we just never quite got there—and when you don’t trust a coworker, a vendor or a business partner, situations can go south quickly. When we trust people, we are much more likely to give them the benefit of the doubt. That’s why building trust should be the very first thing that you do in a relationship.
